I finally got a date for my surgery--It's going to be July 29th. Which is a few days from now, omg. But the day before I gotta go and get marked up by the surgeon so that he knows where to cut the following morning. At first I was so excited that there wasn't any room for any nervousness....but now it's getting to me. I've been waiting for this operation for a while now and have been fighting for it for months..now it's finally here..

Unfortunately the recovery time reaaalllly cuts into my dorming semester because its so late in the summer and after talking with parents we weighed out the pros and cons of everything. As much as I really want to get out of the house and start dorming...it'll have to wait till Spring semester when ROTC starts. I decided to strictly take online courses so that I'm still doing school but have a much more lenient schedule. Not only that, but after I recover I can go back to working at my high paying job. (LOL btw since I NEVER take days off unless I really need to I built up vacation days and sick days so for the six weeks that I'm not working I'll still get paid and still have some over....wowzers)

So that being said while I'm in fall semester I'll build up a nice chunk of cash before I join the military (ROTC) and start my Biology Major (which will in turn get my into medical school). During this time I won't be able to keep my current job...but it's for the better. Another plus is that I can finally get to working out for the ROTC and be ready for it. I am aware that the purpose of PT is to build you up for the monthly Physical test but I like being prepared and know that I'll pass it.



On another note as a present to myself on a job well done on success I decided to spoil myself and my parents front row seats to the Cirque Du Soleil shows in the area on Sunday. (IM SO EXCITED YOU GUYZ) Them mofrackeys were VERY expensive (300 dollars plus man!) and me being a money hoarder doesn't help but my parents and I always wanted to see the show, so why not?

Anyhow, with my surgery underway, my future clear and my goals being met things are finally looking up for me. I guess all of the hardships I've gone through so far were just meant to make me stronger--And they did! Stronger, more confident and much more mature than the little college freshman I was a year ago. WHOO!!
